Community Kitchen

The Wetaskiwin Community Kitchen's purpose is to engage volunteers to cook food which will be given to people who are experiencing difficulty in their lives, an occurence that can impact their food security.

With a voucher given by various agencies in the City (Salvation Army, Boys and Girls Club, and FCSS), people can come Wednesday mornings from 10am-12pm to the United Church to pick up food on a first-come, first-served basis.

We are looking for donations of medium-sized food containers to package the prepared food. If you have any donations, please bring them to FCSS on the 3rd floor of City Hall (4705-50 Avenue).
